17 - 20 October 2010 - Presidential Visit to Japan
2010/10/12
H.E. President Lt. Gen. Seretse Khama Ian Khama will be making his first official visit to Japan as President of Botswana during the week of 18 October, 2010. Although Botswana is a peaceful, stable and prosperous country with an excellent investment climate and investment opportunities, the seat of the SADC Secretariat, and the world's largest producer of gem-quality diamonds, it is still little-known in Japan. The Embassy is taking the opportunity of the Presidential visit to present several events to help increase Botswana's profile in Japan.
