Japan
Botswana and Japan established diplomatic relations in 1966. Botswana opened its resident diplomatic Mission in Japan, in July 1997; and Japan’s resident Mission in Gaborone was opened in January 2008.
Republic of Korea
Botswana and the Republic of Korea established diplomatic relations on the 18th April 1968.
Kingdom of Thailand
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Botswana and the Kingdom of Thailand were established in 1985.
Republic of the Philippines
The Republic of Botswana and the Philippines established diplomatic relations on February 6, 1967.
